This is laughable. This is how religious people reacts when plunging in the reality facts. How this people, who had several thousand buildings around the globe reacts, not to loose the big lie and its profits.
With the encyclical _Humani Generis_ Pope Pius XII allowed for theinvestigation of evolution with a few caveats. The first being that thesoul is not the result of evolution. Reasons for this are the theologiesof the imago dei (image of God) and free will. Second, that there werean original first pair (yes, Adam and Eve). This is mainly due to thedogma of original sin. The reality of Adam and Eve are assumed indogmatic statements such as Trent and as far back as the Council ofOrange in the sixth century (IIRC on the date).
